week of 11-16

Stats: Test on tuesday for chapter 10. Students will receive notes on chapter 4 for the remainder of the week. and complete lesson 4-2.

Calc: Students will complete lessons 3-4 and 3-5 for homework. They will also complete an open ended question.

Trig: Students will finish lesson 5-1 and then work to complete lesson 5-2 on verifying fundamental identities.

Pssa math: Students will solve linear equations for the dependent variable and identify the slope and intercept. Then they will complete a worksheet on graphing slope intercept form.

week of nov 8

pssa math: Students will continue to work on solving linear equations by the elimination method and graphing.

Stats: Students will be completing lesson 10-3 on linear regression. Then they will be working on their bungee barbie project by making their practice jumps.

Trig: Students will begin the week by graphing trig functions for a project. Then they will complete lesson 5-1 on fundamental identities and verifying identities.

Calculus: Students will learn how to determine if a function is differentiable by completing lesson 5-2. Then they will begin to work on the seven rules of differentiating for lesson 5-3.

week of nov 1

Pssa Math: Students will continue to solve linear equations.

Trig: Students will continue to graph trig equations including their shifts, amplitudes, periods and reflections.

Calc: Students will learn to take a derivative of a function and complete homework on lesson 3-1 for Thursday.

Stats: Students will start their bungee barbie project and begin to take notes on chapter ten. They will be asked to complete problems for lesson 10-3 on Thursday dealing with correlation.

week of 10/25

stats: Finish McDonalds project. Complete Did you know poster. Test on Friday.

calculus: Students will finish learning about average rates of change and tangent lines. Then they will be asked to complete pg 87 #'s 1-6 and 8-18. Test on chapter 2 will be on Friday.

Pssa math: Students will complete second test early in the week. Then they will learn to solve linear equations having variables on both sides.

Trigonometry: Students will take test on chapter 3. Then students will begin project on graphing trig equations after they have received the notes..

week of 10/18

Stats: This week we will be working on z scores for lesson 3-4. Students will ba asked to complete problems 1-16 on page 144. Then students should prepare for their chapter 3 test for the end of the week.

Calc. Students will complete assignment on continuity for Tuesday, lesson 3-3 and then we will learn and study rates of change and tangent lines (3-4). Students will be asked to complete page 87 #'s 2-30 even. Chapter 2 test will be early next week.

Trig. Students wil complete lesson 3-4 today in class and then review on Tuesday for their test on chapter 3 Wednesday. Each student will receive a pretest today as added help. On Thursday, students will learn how to graph the sine and cosine functions.

Pssa math: Students will start the week learning the distance formulas and midpoint theorem. They will complete worksheets on each. Then they will have their second test at the end of the week.

week of 10/13

Calculus: We will start the week by finishing review of limits approaching infinity. Then we will introduce continuity with an activity, receive notes and complete exercises in book.

Stats: We will learn how to find the mean, standard deviation and variance, etc. all on a graphing calculator. Then we will be able to review homework given prior to break by checking answers on calculator.

Trigonometry: Students will review homework given from last week. Then they will learn about linear and angular velocity and complete exercises in book.

Pssa math: Students will be asked to complete an open ended question involving similar triangles. Then they will work on solving similar triangles for the remainder of the week

week of 10/4

Statistics: We will be learning about variance and standard deviation this week. Also we will complete exercises from lesson 3-3.

Trigonometry: We will be working on arc length and areas of sectors. Students will complete exercises from pg 113 4-48 multiples of 4. Then they will learn about circular functions and will complete pg 125, 3-57 multiples of 3.

Pssa class will be working on circumference of circles and pythagorean theorem.

Calculus will be working on limits and limits involving infinity. They will complete exercises from lessons 2-1 and 2-2 in book.
