Week of January 18th

Calculus: We will be working on applications of derivatives and analyzation of functions through derivatives and their graphs.

Trigonometry: We will be working on solving trig equations, law of sines and cosines.

Stats: This week we will begin chapter five and throughout the week we will be creating and analyzing probability distributions.

Pssa Math: We will be going over classroom procedures and expectations as the new students move in and the others move on.

1/10/11

All classes have midterms this week.
Pssa math seniors will be taking a pssa format test.

Week of 12/20

Calc and Trig: Both classes will have their chapter test on Tuesday. Receive elligible content for midterm.. It will be comprehensive and students should already have begun to prepare.

stats: Finish lesson 4-5 on permutations and combinations. Receive elligible content for midterm. It will be comprehensive and students should have already begun to prepare.

pssa math: Finish assignment on inverse functions and complete graphs of both functions and their inverses. Then discuss their line of symmetry.

week of 12-13

Stats: Students will work on lessons 4-4 and 4-5 from book. They should also begin to prepare for their chapter 4 test.

Calculus: Students will work on inverse trig derivatives and exponential and logrithmic derivatives from lessons 3-8 and 3-9.

Trig: Students will work on double angle identities, lesson 5-5 from book. They should be studying for their chapter 5 test.

Pssa math: Students will begin to work on finding inverses and their graphs.

week of 12/6

Stats: Students will finish working on lesson 4-3 addition rules. Then they will learn about multiplication rules and conditional probability for lesson 4-4.

Trig: Students will finish verifying trigonometric identities.

Calc: Students will finish the chain rule for derivatives and begin implicit differentiation.

Pssa: Students will learn how to distribute and foil with polynomials.

week of november 30

Trig: Complete lesson 5-2, verifying trig identities #'s 33-68.

Calc: Complete lesson 3-5, 1-10 on derivatives of trig functions.

stats: complete lessons 4-2 and 4-3 in book on probability and sample spaces.

Pssa: complete worksheets on adding and subtracting polynomials

Week of Nov. 22

Pssa Math: Students will continue to work with linear inequalitiies and determine if points are solutions to the inequalities by use of the graph and algebra.

Stats: Students will learn how to make tree diagrams to determine simple probability.

Calc: Continue exploring derivatives of functions.

Trig: Continue verifying trig identities by completing lesson 5-2, 14-22.
