Calculus: Students will be working on lessons 3-4 trig derivatives and 3-5 "The Chain Rule" during the course of the week. They will complete assignments from the book respective to each lesson. Also study for a quiz possibly on friday from the two lessons.
Stats: We have moved on to chapter 10 Correlation and regression. This week, we will cover lessons 10-1 through 10-3 and complete the assignment from lesson 10-3 in the book. Also during this chapter, we will be completing at least 3 different porjects so please bring everything with you to class.
pssa math: we will be completing anchor C this week and next in class.

week of 10/17
stats: Students will begin the week working on z-scores and box plots. Homeowrk will be found on page 144, 1-13. Then on Wednesday, students will complete their fast food projects and take their chapter 3 test on Thursday. On Friday, we will begin chapter 10.
Pssa: Students will begin working on properties of both triangles and circles.
Calculus: First half of Chapter 3 will be tested today! Tomorrow will bring derivatives of trig functions with homework on page 140, 1-13, 26 and 27. Then be prepared to go outside for a exploration activity by Thursday!

Week of Oct. 10
Stats: Page 130 numbers 22,24,28 and 30 will be for homework on Monday night. Then students will work on lessons 3-4 and 3-5 before the end of the week. Students will complete homework for 3-4 on page 144, #'s 2 - 20 even.

Stats: We will be working on measures of central tendency and variation. Homework assignments will be found on pages 110 and 129.
Calculus: Students will begin working through chapter 3....Derivatives. We will cover lessons 1 and 2. Homework will be found on pages 101 and 111.

Week of 9/18
Stats: Students will complete assignment on page 58, 1,3,4. Plus study for a quiz on Tuesday. There will be a chapter 2 test likely on Thursday and then we will move into chapter 3.
Calculus: Page 87, 1-7, 9-14, 27, 29-31. We will review this assignment on Tuesday. Then we will be having a chapter 2 test on either Wednesday or Thursday before we move into derivatives.
Pssa Math: Expect a quiz on anchor "A" before the end of the week.

Stats classes will be working on lesson 2-2 frequency distributions and 2-3 graphs. They will also have a quiz on frequency distributions.
Calculus will be covering the topic of continuity found in lesson 2-3 and be having a quiz on limits and continuity by the end of the week.

Homeowrk and important notices for week of 9/6 - 9/9
Stats: On Tuesday, we will be finishing our notes on chapter 1. Then on Wednesday, we will be having our first quiz that relates to all definitions and classifying activities that were used in chapter 1. On Thursday and Friday, we will move into chapter 2 and start learning frequency distributions. Students will complete problems beginning on page 43 for homework.
Calculus: We will be moving into limits approaching infinity and completing section 2.2 exercises found on page 71. Then we will begin discussing the topic of continuity and complete the exercises for lesson 2.3 found on page 80. Be prepared for a quiz on any or all of our first three lessons.
