Week of December 17th

Stats:  On Monday, Students will be taking their chapter 4 test.  Then students will be given all notes form chapter 5.  Be sure to start studying for the midterm if you haven't done so already!

Practical Geometry:  Students will continue with square roots and apply the to solving equations involving the pythagorean theorem.

Calculus:  Students will continue to work on lesson 4.3 involving the first and second derivative test.  Students must also know how to find the local extremes and inflection points.  Students will be given a quiz on lessons 4.1 through 4.3.  Then students will finish the week with an optimization problem.
