Week of March 24th

Statistics: Students will be retaking their chapter five test and taking their chapter six test this week as well.  We will be starting confidence intervals in chapter seven near the end of the week.

Calculus:  Students will be taking their end of chapter four retest and then moving into integration by substitution.

Pssa Math:  Students will be finishing the quarter by completing a unit on statistics.

Week of March 16th.

Statistics:  Students will begin their week by working through the normal approximation of the binomial experiment.  They will complete homework on lesson 6-6.  Then students will complete a activity on the normal distribution by collecting data from measurements and constructing a graph. Chapter six test will come at the end of the week.

Calculus:  Students will finish indefinite integration of simple anti-derivatives before retaking their end of chapter four test on Tuesday.  Then we will move into integration by substitution.  Expect a quiz on this near the end of the week.

Pssa Math:  Students will be finishing their unit on volume and surface area of three dimensional objects.

Week of March 9th

Stats:  Students will begin working with the central limit theorem.  They will complete page 329 for homework. Then they will move into the normal approximation to the binomial theorem and complete page 337 before their test.

Calculus: Students will complete page 286 and review it before their chapter five test on Tuesday.  Then we will be moving into indefinite integration.

Pssa Math:  Students will start the week by taking their unit 3 test.  Then they will move into a unit on surface area and volume.

Week of march 2nd

Stats:  Students will complete homework on page 316 and move on to lesson 6-4.  After completing 6-4, students will be completing a project on the normal distribution.

Calculus:  Students will review their final homework in lesson 5-4.  This will be followed by a test on chapter 5.  Then students will be learning about indefinite integrals.

Pssa math:  Students will finish working on area and perimeter unit and complete their unit three test.  Then the students will begin working with three dimensional shapes.

Week of Feb 23rd

Stats:  Students will complete pages 302, #'s 6-47,  and 316, #'s 1-42.  Both assignments are on finding a z-score for a given data value and determining the area under a normal curve.

Calc:  Students will continue working on definite integrals and the fundamental theorem of calculus.  Students will complete lessons 5-4 and 5-5 for homework and also complete a quiz on definite integrals early in the week.

Pssa math:  Students will be learning about perimeter and area of two dimensional objects and gradually complete their third unit packet.
