week of 4/23

Stats:  Students will begin working on a project for hypothesis testing.  They will first collect data for each assigned data set and then test a claim about the population mean.

Algebra 2:  Students will continue working with trigonometric equations and begin to plot their graphs using shifts and translations.

teck Algebra 2:  Students will continue working with complex numbers so they may continue to find complex roots of quadratic equations.

AP statistics:  Students will be finishing chapter 10 this week and begin their final AP pretest exam.

Week of 4/9

Algrebra : (voteck)  Students will learn to find the vertex and intercepts of quadratic functions in order to graph them on a coordinate plane.

Algebra 2:  Students will begin working with exponential and log functions.

Stats:  Continue hypothesis testing of a mean.

AP stats:  Testing independence and homogeneity.

week of April 2nd

vo-tech algebra 2:  Chapter 3 test followed by quadratic functions. Students will graph, factor solve, complete the square and use the quadratic formula throughout this chapter.

Algebra 2:  Students will solve radicals and inequalities before taking their chapter 6 test.

Stats:  Students will begin hypothesis testing using both the traditional method and the p-value method.

AP stats:  Students will finish an AP practice exam during the week before moving onto chapter 10.

Week of 3/26

AP stats:  Finish chapter 9 with a test on Tuesday and take a practice exam.

Stats:  Review chapter 7 and test Tuesday.  Then move into chapter 8 on hypothesis testing.

vo teck Algebra 2:  Students will begin to solve systems of linear inequalities by graphing their solutions on a coordinate plane.

Algebra 2:  Students will begin working on operations with radical expressions.

Sunday, March 18, 2018

week of 3/19

AP stats:  Students will finish chapter 9 this week and have their test into next week.

Stats:  Students will complete confidence intervals for standard deviations and variances this week with an activity on Thursday-Friday

Algebra 2:  First class will work on systems of equations during the week and third period will work on inverses.

week of 2/26

Algebra 2 vt:  Students will start with linear regression and move into piece wise functions, integer functions and absolute value functions.

Alg 2 3rd prd:  Test on Monday.  Students will begin to work on finding inverses of functions and perform operations on functions.

Stats:  students will complete a confidence interval project.  Then they will learn to find confidence intervals for a mean when the standard deviation is unknown.

AP stats:  Students will finish chapter 8 on hypothesis testing and test by the end of the week.
Then they will move into linear regression.
