Week of September 15th
Statistics: Students will move into creating graphs for frequency distributions that include: histograms, frequency polygons, ogives and stem and leaf plots. Students will be expected to color their graphs to promote professional appearance. Monday's homework will be on page 58, 2-5, 8, 15 and 16. Tuesday's homework will be page 77, 2-4, 15-17. Test on chapter 2 likely to be on Friday.
Calculus: Students are learning how to find average rate of change of a function over a specified domain. Students will also learn to compute the slope of a line at a given point by using the limit definition for slope. Students will complete page 87, #'s 1-6, 9-12 and 27-30. Test will be on Wednesday.
Pssa Math 7: Students will continue to work with their angles and triangles unit. Please encourage them to maintain studying and completion of their packets.
