week of feb 28

Calc: We will be taking our chapter 4 test on Monday. Then we will be doing our related rates project and moving into calculating finite sums.

Stats: Studentsw ill be preparing for their ch. 6 test and completing a activity on the central limit theorem.

Analytic Geometry: This week we will be working on the many ways to solve systems of equations.

Pssa math: Students will be working on writing linear regression equations or lines of best fit.

week of Feb. 22

Stats: Students will continue to work with z-scores and their applications by completing lesson 6-4 from book.

Analytic Geometry: Students will continue to learn to write equations of lines into different forms and understand why each form is beneficial. They will complete lessons 2-1 and 2-2 from book.

Calc: Related rates activity will be conducted and chapter four test will be on Friday.

Pssa math: Students will be writing proportions and evaluating similar triangles. Our first major quiz will be at the end of the week.

week of Feb 14th

Analytic Geo. Students will begin working on chapter 2 towards the end of the week. Test on chapter one was moved back from Monday to Wednesday.

Calculus Students will be studying related rates and Newtons method. Test on chapter four will be next week.

Statistics students will finish chapter five and begin chapter six notes. Ch. 6 is the normal distribution and students will study areas under the normal curve.

Pssa math will work on order of operations and will have a quiz next week.

week of February 7th

Calc: Students will be working on linearization of a graph and newtons method.

Analytic Geo. Students will be working on writing the equations for graphs using the point-slope formula and the distance formula.

Stats. Projects are due Thursday. Chapter five packets will be do on monday the 14th.

Pssa math: We will be working on factorials, permutations, combinations and pascals triangle.

Week of 1/31

Calc: Students will be working on graphing from derivatives and maximization problems throughout the week. They should also be ready for a quiz on antiderivatives. Assignments will cover leson 4-3 and 4-4.

Analytic Geometry (TRIG): Students will work on lesson two: angles of inclination and lesson three division of a line segment out of their new book.

Stats: Students will finish lesson 5-4: the binomial probability formula and then take a test on chapter 5. They will be asked to complete their projects by no later than next week.

Pssa math: Students will be working on graphing linear inequalities and lines. Then they will be moving into changing dimesions of objects and studying the effects on area, perimeter and volume.

Week of January 18th

Calculus: We will be working on applications of derivatives and analyzation of functions through derivatives and their graphs.

Trigonometry: We will be working on solving trig equations, law of sines and cosines.

Stats: This week we will begin chapter five and throughout the week we will be creating and analyzing probability distributions.

Pssa Math: We will be going over classroom procedures and expectations as the new students move in and the others move on.
